What to Expect on Your First Visit
Walking into a new doctor's office for the first time can feel uncertain, especially when you are already in pain. Here is exactly what happens when you come to Brown Chiropractic Center for the first time.
Your Consultation
Your first visit begins with a conversation. Dr. Brown will take the time to hear your full history, understand your symptoms, and learn how your pain or condition has been affecting your daily life. This is not a rushed intake process. The information gathered here shapes everything that follows, so Dr. Brown takes it seriously.
Your Examination
Following the consultation, Dr. Brown will perform a comprehensive physical examination. This includes evaluating your posture and spinal alignment, assessing your range of motion, and identifying areas of tenderness or restricted movement.
If x-rays are needed to get a clearer picture of what is going on, we take them right here in the office using high-frequency digital x-ray technology.
Your Treatment Plan
Once Dr. Brown has reviewed your history and examination findings, he will explain what he found and what he recommends in plain language. You will understand exactly what is causing your problem and what the treatment plan looks like before any care begins. There are no surprises and no pressure to commit to anything before you are ready.
In many cases, particularly with auto accident patients, treatment begins the same day. In other cases Dr. Brown may want to review your imaging and examination findings more thoroughly before beginning care. Either way you will not be waiting long and you will leave your first visit knowing exactly what the plan is.

If you have been in an auto accident, bring any documentation related to your claim. Donna will assist you with all insurance filing from your very first visit.
